BCECE: Eligibility Criteria, Syllabus, Exam Pattern

Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) conducts BCECE for admission to agricultural, pharmacy and other medical programmes. The test is conducted in offline mode. Eligible candidates can access BCECE application form in February every year. BCECE Eligibility Criteria

Nationality: Only Indian citizens can apply.

Age Criteria:

  • There is no minimum age requirement for Pharmacy programme.
  • Candidates should complete the age of 17 years as on 31st August of the year of admission for medical programmes.
  • For Agriculture course, candidates must attain an age of 16 years as on 31st August of the year of admission.

Domicile Criteria

Candidates must hold a domicile of Bihar. You need to meet one of said requirements:

Minimum Education

B.Sc Nursing: 10+2 with Biology, Physics with at least 45% marks in aggregate.

Pharmacy: 10+2 with Chemistry and Physics as compulsory subject along with Maths or Biology as an optional one.

Agriculture

BCECE Application Form

Candidates who meet the said eligibility requirements can obtain the BCECE application from the official website of BCECEB. Online registration is the first step before you go to apply for the exam. Later you need to upload signature, photograph and required documents in the prescribed format. Upon submission, you’ll be asked to make payment of application fee.

Application Fee

Payment of application fee can be made using credit card/debit card/net banking/challan.

BCECE Exam Pattern

BCECEB has prescribed the exam pattern for BCECE:

The question paper has different sections like Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, Agricultural Science.

The language mode of the question paper will be Hindi and English.

90 minutes will be given for each section to solve.

The total number of questions will be 100 in each subject.

All the questions will be MCQ type.

4 marks would be provided for every correct response and 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect response.
