DPS Visakhapatnam Admission Process

Currently, DPS Visakhapatnam offers admission from Nursery to class IX & XI. You need to follow a simple registration process for which details are given below:

• Admission Procedure starts in the month of Decemberfor the next session.
• The Registration Form can be obtained from the office in second half of December of each year to January of the next year.
• Written tests and subsequent interviews are held in the month of February/March.
• Display of names of Selected candidates on the School website & notice board.
• New session starts from the first working day of April.
• Admissions are based on the eligibility test to be conducted
• Written test is conducted for English, Hindi and Mathematics. for classes I and above.
• The selection for Nursery will be held on the basis of an interaction. The teachers observe and interact with the child and the parents. The child and both parents should be present in the school
• Orientation programme is conducted for all new parents.

• White Nylon socks with two green strips on the top 3″ below the knees.
• Bottle green school tie and belt.

Class IX to XII

• White trousers with minimum 18” flares.
• Rest same as class III to VIII.

Winter :

Nursery to Class II

• Round neck pink sweater and pink cap.
• Rest same as summer uniform.

Class III to VIII

• Full sleeve white shirt with pointed small collars and school monogram.
• “V” necked pullover of bottle green colour (sleeves optional) / Single breasted bottle green colour blazer with school monogram affixed on the chest pocket.

• White Nylon socks with two green strips on the top 3″ below the knees.

• Bottle green ribbon and hair band.

Winter :

Class III to XII

Note:

Wearing tie is compulsory for all students from Class III onwards

Fancy sport shoes are not allowed.

No fancy hair clips or jewellery is allowed.

Turbans or Daster if worn should be of pink (upto class II) and bottle green colour (for other class Sikh students).
