About Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Tamenglong
The 3rd November 2011 was the most auspicous day when the permanent site building of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Tamenglong was inaugurated by Honorable Union Home Minister Shri P Chidambaram in the presence of Honorable Chief Minister Shri O Ibobi Singh Till then, it had been at ADC, Tamenglong under temporary roofs since its inception in 1992. The school campus covers around 30 acres of forested hill side with buildings connected by steep paths offering spectacular views at every turn.
