About Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Zunheboto
The 20.12.2006, was the most auspicious day when the foundation stone of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Lumami, Zunheboto was laid down by Hon Shri K C Das, the then Assistant Commissioner, NVS RO Shillong. Initailly it was established in Lumami village at a temporary site. It was shifted to the new permanent site at Zaphumi village near Nagaland University on 30.09.2015. The school campus covers around 26.4 acres of forested hillside with its buildings connected by steep and windy paths and offering spectacular views at every turn.
