  2. Please reduce the syllabus of ssc because we are not going to give only ssc exam there are other subjects also…it gives a lot of pressure to a student.. please this is a humble request to the cbse board ti reduce the ssc syllabus 🙏

    1. Very true please reduce the syllabus of SST as too much things to cover and there r some which are unnecessary and in future no use of that

  3. this is so vast syallabus and I exact dont know how to cover and study the social science , requesting to reduce some chapters of history and geography as it can

    1. First thing, Social is not a boring subject, every person has his own view about everything. Social Science is an important subject required in every competitive examination across the country. For some people Maths is a boring subject, and for another science, so it depends on the person. No subject is boring, everything has its own value.

      1. Absolutely right ma’am.
It becomes a mindset of some people that sst is not a important subject so no need to focus on it. I want to request cbse to add Indian history in syllabus to awarethe the students about out our country

  4. Hi Board Members,
This is me, a student who is going to appear board exam in 2023. Hope u r doing well. I really want you’ll to know how much we r suffering because of you people. Pls reduce the portions of social science.

    Dear God,
Pls bless those people with understanding and also give them wisdom so that they may see how much stress and suffering our batch (2022-23) are going through. Pls guide them and help them to make right choice. Pls help them to reduce the portions of social science so that we students can learn without any pressure and score good marks in board exam. We ask in your name. Amen!

    1. Hello everybody I am also appearing for board examinations in 2023 . I request to CBSE to reduce the syllabus of social science as it contains 21 chapters.so please reduce 5 to 9 chapters .😭😭😭

    2. Yes you are absolutely right. But one student (of same class) can only understand the problem of other.
      REASONS OF VAST SST SYLLABUS:

      1) This is the last year of class 10 boards. After this Class 10 boards will not be conducted. So they are thinking to give more and more pressure because this is their last opportunity to pressurise students.

      2) Due to online classes SST syllabus was reduced to a vast extent. So they thought to give more syllabus. Because they cannot see children happy.

  5. I would request you to reduce the portions only for social science. First of all, social is really boring subject and then the increase of portions is too much, mainly history… It’s really bad….. In 2019, those batch of students just had 3 lessons from history and so it wasn’t that pressure, like how we r facing. You didn’t give them much pressure before the pandemic then why would you give us… Pls reduce the portions… Just mainly for social only….. I humbly request you. Our marks are really depending on you… IF u reduce, then we might not have much pressure…. we can manage to learn and score marks easily…. I hope and pray that God may bless you wisdom and understanding which you really need to understand how much we are going through and also have mercy on us all…

  9. Thats very bad its the first time that the cbse give to much syallabs in all subjects 😭😭😭😭

    1. Don’t worry bro just read whole time remain and continue your strategy because not much difficult question paper and a suggestion for you read only latest prescribed NCERT book and at last time just before exam maximum 5 sample papers try to understand and write as well as most prefer CBSE sample paper. I hope you will be achieve great marks in your board exam.

  10. Hello CBSE Board
I’m requesting you to reduce the syllabus of history because there are toooooooo much chapters to remember and even I am feeling stressed and my friends also.

  12. Here, I m requesting to the BOARD to reduce some chapters from social science.
All the subjects syllabus are well except this one.
So this is my humble request to the BOARD reduce some chapters from this…!💔

  13. After two years of pandemic it’s very difficult for kids to come back to normal routine…cbse should reconsider the syllabus…it will only give stress and will effect other subjects too…even before pandemic the syllabus was not so lengthy

    1. That’s very true. Cbse should reconsider it as healing from the covid it will be unjustified to increase the syllabus.

  14. The syllabus of 10th class is very lengthy and it should be reduced it would also be very difficult to give exams and this would lead a great stress on students

  15. Syllabus of class 10 2022-23 of social science is like a pressure and burden on teachers as well as students.
This syllabus is so lengthy even all students of class 10 are not able to know the basic of S St due to corona pandemic in class 8.
According to me ,CBSE must have to reduce some portion from social science this year.

    1. Yes , I agree with you ….
CBSE would hav to reduce few portion especially from history. Chapters in history are very vast and also lengthy…

      1. Hi Ayushi,

The new syllabus has been prescribed by CBSE. Please refer CBSE social science syllabus pdf for more details. Kindly contact CBSE for more information.

  16. i am not able to believe how the person couldnot realise the pressure and stress on students and teacher and parents. its not late ,the Board must rectify the the decision.

  17. EVEN IN 2019, BEFORE THE PANDEMIC ONLY THREE CHAPTERS IN HISTORY BUT DURING THE PANDEMIC WHY MANY CHAPTERS ARE ADDED. IT’S NOT ONLY A PRESSURE ON THE STUDENTS AND ALSO FOR TEACHERS

  18. Thanks for the syllabus. Really it is very difficult to study all the four units for the students. Seeing the syllabus 10th std children hate Social science. I kindly request please reduce the syllabus.

  19. Thanks for the syllabus but don’t you think it’s more like pressurizing the students which would eventually lead them to anxiety, stress, and depression affecting their studies.
