JCECE: Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination
Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board conducts JCECE as a state level entrance exam for providing admission into B.Tech (Agriculture Engineering), B.V.Sc & Animal Husbandry, B.Sc. Agriculture, and several other courses. The online registration for JCECE usually opens in April and exam is conducted in May every year. However, you can find variations in dates year by year and for the same you need to stay tuned with official.
JCECE Eligibility Criteria
Only eligible candidates are permitted to apply for JCECE. Therefore, it is essential to ensure your eligibility before you start applying for the exam.
Nationality: Only Indian citizens are eligible to apply.
Age Criteria: The minimum age criterion is 17 years. However, the upper age criterion for B.Sc (Hons) Agriculture, B.V. Sc. & A.H and and B.Sc (Hons) Forestry programmes is 22 years.
Domicile: Candidates having local residential certificate of Jharkhand state are permitted.

JCECE Application Form
Eligible candidates are required to apply online for JCECE. The online application involves various stages including online registration, application form filling, uploading documents & images, fee payment and printout of the confirmation. Candidates can submit only one application at a time.

JCECE Exam Pattern
Please go through the prescribed exam pattern for JCECE:
JCECE is a computer based test.
The language mode of question paper will be Hindi & English.
Candidates will be given 2 hours for Chemistry & Physics and 1 hour will be given for Mathematics & Biology.
Only multiple choice questions are to be asked.
Total number of question will be 150 for PCB & PCM group and 200 questions for PCMB. Each question is associated to 1 mark.
There will be negative marking of 0.25 for every incorrect response.

JCECE Syllabus
JCECE syllabus includes topics from Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics. Students are recommended to study class 11th & 12th syllabus. Questions are asked from any part of the syllabus so it’s not recommended to cover only crucial chapters of concerned subjects. Solve numerical questions as many you can from different books and notes given by your mentor.
