Out of the total seats, 85% seats are reserved for students who passed class 10th exam from a Chandigarh-based government school and the rest 15% is for private school students.

The prescribed fee for participating in Chandigarh government school centralized admission process is Rs.1200/- for girls, Rs.1400/- for boys. If you belong to SC category then the fee is Rs.700/-. You also need to pay a non-refundable registration fee of Rs.200/-.

Chandigarh Govt. School 11th Class Admission 2023 Eligibility Criteria
The candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria in order to apply for class 11th admission.
- Aspirants must have passed class 10th or equivalent examination from CBSE or any other recognized board.
- Those candidates who have a compartment in 10th class are admitted provisionally unless they pass the first chance of the compartment examinations. Please note that the admission will be canceled in case the candidate fails to clear the examination.

Selection Criteria and Merit List
- The selection of candidates will take place solely on the basis of marks secured by candidates in the class 10th boards examination.
- The merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks secured by candidates in the following five subjects – English, Mathematics, Social Sciences, General Science, and Language II.
- In case a candidate had opted for more than one language (in addition to English) in the class 10th examination, the language in which the candidate has secured higher marks will be considered.
- The following marks will be considered in case two or more candidates have equal marks.
- For science stream – Aggregate marks in Mathematics and Science
- For Commerce – Aggregate marks in Mathematics and Social Science
- Humanities – Aggregate marks in English and Social Science
