An air pollution control tower (APCT) prototype in Noida has been inaugurated by Heavy Industries Minister Mahendra Nath Pandey. It was developed by Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (Bhel).

A joint airlift exercise Op Hercules was organized by the Indian Air Force and Indian Army on 15th November 2021.
