Every year, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) releases the KVS holiday calendar. This calendar is followed by 1253 Kendriya Vidyalaya schools across India.

It is extremely important for not only students but also teachers to go through this calendar. By understanding this, students can plan their holidays and teachers can plan the syllabus/ classes accordingly.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Holiday List 2024-25 is equipped with both festival holidays as well as summer, winter, and autumn breaks. However, you should note that the duration of these breaks depends on the region of the school.

If the school’s opening or closing day is declared a holiday by the government then it will be included in the KVS Vacation & Break List 2024.
The Principal of KVs will retain the list of KVS employees/teachers needed for CBSE Board Examinations Class-X & XII – 2024 and evaluation work as directed by CBSE.
