Pulisic was born on September 18, 1998 in Hershey, Pennsylvania to Kelley and Mark Pulisic. Both his parents played collegiate soccer at George Mason University and his father was a professional indoor soccer player for the Harrisburg Heat in the 1990s. His father later became a coach at both youth and professional levels and his mother was on a teacher exchange in England through the Fulbright Program. At only the age of seven, Pulisic began playing for the youth team of Brackley Town.

Christian Pulisic Early Soccer Career

Christian began his soccer career at a U17 tournament in Florida in 2013 when he played opposite Brazil. He scored a goal and led the team to a 4-1 win. Pulisic later moved to Germany where Borussia Dortmund signed him for their U17 squad. After a glorious performance, Pulisic was called to join the first team over winter break. In his second year with the club, Pulisic became the youngest football player form Dortmund to ever play in the UEFA Champions League. In 2019, he signed with Premier League club Chelsea for an estimated £58 million transfer fee.
