Journey to Mrs World
Always inclined towards it, Sargam realized her immense passion towards modeling after she got married. Sargam had always dreamt of achieving this goal since her childhood but had certain hesitation while she was young. Finally after her marriage, she was encouraged by both her parents and her husband to pursue her journey towards her dream. Sargam too worked very hard on her dream and had always been confident of herself since she was only a child. In June 2022, she finally participated in the Mrs India contest where she beat 50 other contestants to win the title along with a spot at the Mrs World 2022 pageant.
In December 2022, Sargam participated in the Mrs World 2022 competition held in Las Vegas, United States. At the finale held on 17 December, she was crowned the winner of the pageant bringing the title back to India after a drought of 21 years.

Sargam Koushal was born on 17 September 1990 in Jammu, Jammu & Kashmir to Reema Khajuria and GS Kaushal. Her father is the retired Chief Manager of the Bank of India while her mother is a housewife. She did her schooling from Jammu and also holds a post graduation degree in English literature from Jammu University. After her post graduation, Sargam did her B.Ed from Government B.Ed College Jammu and started working as a teacher. She had a younger brother named Manthan Koushal who is 7 years younger to her.
After she started out as a teacher, Sargam soon decided to join the glamour world and became a model. Other than a teacher and a model, Koushal is a painter and a content writer too.
