Bolt was reportedly caught up in a large employee fraud scheme that resulted in stolen funds from a wealth management company, Stocks and Securities Limited (SSL). Bolt’s team was informed of the fraud just before it becoming a public knowledge. Jamaica’s Financial Services Commission is investigating the private equity firm but it is currently unclear if or how people will get their money back.
