NRA CET 2024 Syllabus

Based on materials furnished in the NRA CET 2024 syllabus, candidates should start preparing for their respective exams.

The National Recruitment Agency (NRA) conducts a Common Eligibility Test (CET) for the selection of candidates for Group ‘B’ and ‘C’ posts in various ministries/ departments/ public sector undertakings of the Government of India.

The syllabus is divided into 4 sections – General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability, and English Language.

Each section is equally important and candidates should focus equally on all sections.

NRA CET 2024 Syllabus Highlights

The comprehensive NRA CET syllabus for the year 2024 has not yet been released by the National Recruitment Agency (NRA).

The NRA CET syllabus will be developed in accordance with the SSC, RRB, and IBPS examinations. The graduation, Class 10 and Class 12 levels are the three levels of the syllabus

The four subject areas that will be covered in the NRA CET examination are General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability, and English. Many important details related to the NRA CET exam are given in the following table.

Exam Pattern

Candidates must review the NRA CET exam pattern before moving on to the subject-specific topics from which questions are expected to be asked. Officially, the exam pattern of NRA CET is not yet released by authorities. Given below is the latest news available as of now. 

  • The number of applicants will determine the format of the NRA CET exam.
  • The test will initially be administered in 12 languages, including Hindi and English. All of the languages listed in the Constitution’s 8th Schedule will eventually be added.
  • The various government recruitment agencies will select candidates for subsequent rounds of selection based on the NRA CET scores.
  • The exam will only consist of multiple-choice questions of the objective type.
  • There will be negative markings in the exam. 0.25 marks will be deducted in case of an incorrect answer. 
  • The duration of the exam will be 2 hours.

The General Awareness section will test the candidates’ general knowledge of the world around them. The questions will be based on current affairs, history, geography, politics, economics, etc.
