Eligibility Criteria
A student seeking admission to Abu Dhabi International School will be eligible only if he/ she fulfills the given age criteria:
- Pre-school: The age of the child must be 3 years by September 1st.
- KG- The age of the child must be 4 years by September 1st.
- Prep- The age of the child must be 5 years by September 1st.
- Grade 1- The age of the child must be 6 years by September 1st.
Admission Priorities
Applications will be given to the candidates on a first-come-first-serve basis with the following priorities:
- Children of AIS Faculty Members
- Siblings of current AIS students
- Former AIS students and children of former AIS students
- All other students meeting admission requirements
Abu Dhabi International School Admission Process
- Interested parents can submit the Admission Enquiry form from the school’s website.
- Admission Committee will then contact the parents explaining details of the admission process.
- After this, the Student Application Form needs to be filled and submitted. The form can be collected from the school reception or online and submitted to [email protected].
- A Student Recommendation Form should then be filled and submitted to the child’s current school to be completed.
- The form must be completed and signed by the respondent and signed and stamped by the principal of the current school.
- You can now schedule your ward’s initial interview with the Admissions Committee by calling the number 056-6640627.
- Student Application Form, Letters of Recommendation, and all other documents (listed below) should be brought while appearing for the interview.
- Once the application is verified by the Admissions Office, applicants will be scheduled for a placement interview or test.
- The final result of the admission process will be emailed to the parents of the applicant.

- Two Recent Passport-Sized Photos of the Applicant
- Applicant’s Passport Information Page and Visa Page
- Applicant’s valid Emirates ID Card
- Applicant’s Birth Certificate
- Applicant’s Vaccination Record
- Sponsoring Parent’s Passport Information Page and Visa Page
- Sponsoring Parent’s valid Emirates ID Card
- Water and electricity bill
- Student’s school report cards for the last year and the latest progress reports for the current academic year
- Students with medical conditions must submit a medical report
Applicants residing in the UAE must submit hard copies of these documents whereas those outside can scan and submit all the required documents to [email protected]. Documents must be in English or Arabic.
