Army Public Schools are often considered some of the top and most prestigious schools in India. These schools have been managed by the Army Welfare Education Society (AWES) since 1983. Under AWES, there are around 137 Army Public Schools and 249 Army Pre Primary Schools.

You should note that all of these schools follow the CBSE pattern of Education. Preference for admission is given to the wards of Service/ Retired Personnel of the Armed Forces. All candidates looking to apply for Army Public School Admission must ensure that they meet all the following eligibility criteria.

Army Public School Application Form 2024

The application form for Army Public School admission will be released in both offline and online mode. To access the online application form, aspirants may visit the official website apsdigicamps.com. Offline application forms will be available at the school’s admission office. The step-by-step process to submit the online form is given below.

• First of all, visit the official website of Army Public School Admission.
• Click on the application form link that will be available on the home page.
• Choose the school to which you are looking to apply.
• Provide all the necessary educational and personal details in the application form such as name, father’s name, age, class, etc.
• Apart from this, aspirants must also provide their contact details such as phone number, address, etc.
• In addition to the details, candidates must upload scanned images of the following documents.
  • Passport size photograph of up to 300 KB in size 
  • Aadhar
  • DOB Certificate of up to 300 KB in size
  • Service/ Discharge/ Pension Certificate and ID proof issued by the Sainik Welfare Officer for Ex-Servicemen Transfer Order.
  • TC/ Mark Sheets of the previous school.
• After submitting the form, candidates should pay the necessary application fee.
• Finally, take a printout of the application form submitted and the fee receipt for future reference.

Application Fee

• The application fee is Rs. 500/- for all candidates.

Mode of payment – Candidates can pay the application fee online using a credit/ debit card, Internet banking, or Paytm wallet.

Note: If you are applying offline then you need to pay the application fee at the time of buying the application form and prospectus.

Admit Card

• AWES will release the admit card for the assessment exam a few days before the test.
• It is a crucial document that will carry information like the examination date, timing, and venue.
• Candidates’ information like name, roll number, etc. will also be mentioned on the admit card.
• No student will be allowed to enter the examination hall without an admit card.
• Keep the admit card safe even after the assessment exam as it might be required at the time of document verification.

Exam Pattern and Syllabus

• The exact exam pattern and syllabus of the Army Public School Assessment test are not published by AWES.
• However, it is known that the assessment exams will be different for all the classes.
• Students should prepare themselves for the exam by studying according to the CBSE curriculum of the previous classes.

Interview

• Along with the assessment test, the admission authorities will also conduct an interview to select eligible students for admission.
• During the Interview process, authorities will try to determine the knowledge and overall intelligence of the students.
• At the time of the interview, students should also bring their relevant documents.

Merit List and Final Result

• The merit list for the Army Public School admission will be prepared after the interview.
• The marks secured by candidates in both written and interview will be considered at the time of creating the final merit.
• Authorities will publish the merit list both on the website and on the school’s notice board.
• No separate intimation will be sent to successful or unsuccessful candidates regarding their selection.
