A set of holidays have been decided by the Arunachal Pradesh Government that includes all the secular holidays, some national holidays and some state holidays. Government declared holidays are observed in almost every school, bank and public office.
Private offices normally grant day-off on these days but there might be some exceptions to that. All banks remain close on the Government holidays, and also on all Sundays. Other than this, all the second and fourth Saturdays of a month are also marked as holiday in banks.
Customers cannot avail physical services of banks on these days but the online services (NEFT/ IMPS/ RTGS) and the ATM services are not affected by them.

Similar to banks, all the Government listed holidays will be observed in almost every school of Arunachal Pradesh. Other than this, Sundays are also compulsory off in the schools of the state.
