According to a Pinkvilla report, an insider said, “The team has been discussing the possibility of a Border sequel for 2 to 3 years. But, now that everything is finally in place, the team is ready to officially announce Border within two weeks. The team is making every effort to identify the story of the 1971 Indo-Pakistani War that has not yet been told on screen and to bring it to the stage”

Aajtak also reported, quoting an unknown source, “Because this is an action-packed movie, the team will be casting a younger generation of actors rather than putting together the entire Border cast. Sunny Deol will probably be the only Border actor to appear in Border 2. At the moment, everything is still in its early stages and we will provide further updates as soon as the film is officially announced”

After these reports by Pinkvilla and Aajtak, fans spammed Sunny Deol’s social media profile about the news. However, Sunny Deol broke everyone’s heart by saying that he hasn’t signed Border 2 yet. He wrote on his Instagram story, “Some news has been circulating of me signing a few films, I would like to inform that currently I am only concentrating on Gadar 2 and receiving all your love.
