Lower Kindergarten (LKG) is the class group right after the play school that aims at taking the kids gradually towards the understanding of alphabets and numbers. It is the first stage where the kids actually starts studying but in a fun way. Keeping in mind that the LKG students need to learn things the fun way, the CBSE has drawn the syllabus accordingly.

The parents of the kids in the lower kindergarten play an important role in developing their learning skills.
