At the start of his career, Caldwell worked as a consultant in various enterprises learning from the experience of each company. He started working at EMJ Data Systems as its Executive Vice President in July 2003.
The company was later bought by the SYNNEX Corporation in August 2004 and Chris was given multiple roles to handle. He served as the Vice President of Financial Operations for Canada and Vice President of Corporate Development.
