CHS Admission 2023: E-Lottery, Exam Date

The online application correction window for CHS admission 2023 is open till 4th April 2023. There will be a common admission process for class LKG, Nursery, Class 1, VI, IX and XI in the Central Hindu Girls’ School (CHGS) and Central Hindu Boys’ School (CHBS). CHS admission 2023 for LKG, Nursery, Class 1, VI, and class VI will be based on E-lottery, while admission to class IX and XI would be based upon the entrance exam. CHS Eligibility Criteria 2023

Have a look at minimum eligibility criteria for CHS admission 2023:

Class LKG: 4 to 5 years as on 1st April 2023

Class Nursery- 5 to 6 years as on 1st April 2023

Class 1- 6 to 8 years as on 1st April 2023

Class VI

• Qualification: Candidates should have passed class V exam from a recognized school.
• Age Criteria: The age of candidates must be in between 10 to 12 years as on 30^th September 2023. It means, they must not be born before 30^th September 2011 and after 30^th September 2013.

Class IX

• Qualification: Candidates should have passed class VIII exam from a recognized school.
• Age Criteria: The age of candidates must be in between 13 to 15 years as on 30^th September 2023. It means, they must not be born before 30^th September 2008 and after 30^th September 2010.

Class XI

• Qualification: Candidates should have passed class 10 exam from a recognized board or university with recommended percentage (Science: Minimum 60% plus 50% marks in Science and Math each, Commerce: Minimum 55% marks, Arts: Just passed class X)
• Age Criteria: The upper age limit for class XI is 18 years as on 30^th September 2023. It means candidates must not have born before 30^th September 2005.

Eligible students can access CHS 2023 application form at the official website of Banaras Hindu University www.bhuonline.in. Please make a note that the application form for CHS admission 2023 will be submitted through online mode only.

CHGS and CHBS 2023 Selection Process

Banaras Hindi University may follow the criteria shared below for admission to Central Hindu Girls’ School (CHGS) and Central Hindu Boys’ School (CHBS) in 2023.

Class LKG, Nursery, Class 1, VI: based on e-lotter

Class IX and XI: Through entrance test

The Banaras Hindi University will not send any separate call letter for attending CHS admission 2023 counselling. The lottery result and merit list will be available to check at the official website of Banaras Hindu University www.bhuonline.in.

Candidates should check their rank in the merit list and ensure they are eligible for attending the counselling session.

Class 9 and class 11 Syllabus 2023

Class IX: There will be 100 multiple choice questions of subjects-Hindi, English, Mathematics, Social Science and Science and all questions will be up to class VIII standard.

Class XI: There will be 100 multiple choice questions up to class X standard.

Maths Group: Hindi, English, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics and Gen. Studies.

Bio Group: Hindi, English, Physics, Biology, Chemistry, and Gen. Studies.

Arts Group: English, History, Hindi, Geography, Political Science, Economics, Maths and Gen. Studies.

Commerce Group: Hindi, English, Economics, Maths and Gen. Studies.

Candidates’ admit card will be emailed to their respective email address and they will also receive an SMS regarding the same on their register mobile number.
