DAV Kapildev Public School located in A.G. Co-operative Colony, Kadru, Ranchi, just 3 kms. away from Ranchi Railway Station on a land given on lease for 99 years by A.G. Co-operative Society is another link in the chain of more than 600 DAV Public Schools all over the country, managed by DAV College Managing Committee, New Delhi. It made a very humble beginning with only 25 students from classes I to IV in 1991. On 17th September 1993, Padam Bhushan G. P. Chopra, President, DAV CMC inaugurated the building and flagged off its journey.
