School of Specialized Excellence Class 11 Eligibility Criteria 2024

Domicile:

• Admissions are open only for students who are residents of the NCT of Delhi and are studying in any recognized school of the NCT of Delhi.

Age limit:

• The age of the candidates should be between 12 and 15 years as of 31.03.2024 for admission in Class 9th.
• The age of the candidates should be between 15 and 17 years as of 31.03.2024 for admission in Class 11th.

Educational qualification:

Class 9:

• A minimum of 60% aggregate marks in class 8 is required for admission to class 9 of any SoSE.
• For Performing and Visual Arts, the minimum marks requirement can be waived if the candidate has received an award in any Art form in competition at the zonal or upward level.

Class 11:

• A minimum of 55% aggregate marks (best of 5 including Science and Maths) in class 10 is required for admission in STEM & AFPS.
• For the Humanities stream, just a pass in the class 10 exam is required.

Application Form for School of Specialised Excellence

• Application forms for Delhi SoSE admission 2024 will be made available online on the official website of EDUDEL www.edudel.nic.in/sose/.
• Candidates are advised to read the information brochure carefully before filling out the admission form.

• In the form, the candidates will have to provide their basic personal, academic, contact, and other details.
• Scanned copies of photographs and signatures of the candidates should also be uploaded into the application form.
• The candidates should carefully check the application form for any error and if found, should correct it immediately.
• The duly filled application form should then be submitted online and a printout of the same should be taken for further correspondence.

Release of Admit Card

• The admit card for appearing in the aptitude test will be released online on EDUDEL’s official website.
• On the admit card, details related to the candidates such as name, roll number, and exam date and time will be printed.
• Only those candidates with a valid admit card will be allowed to appear for the aptitude test.
• Admit cards should be kept safe by the candidates till the complete process of admission is over.

• Authorities will declare the result of the aptitude test online on the official website of EDUDEL.
• Using details like roll number, date of birth, etc, the candidates will be able to check their results.
• Based on the marks scored by the candidates in the test, a merit list will be prepared. Separate lists will be prepared for admission to different fields.
