After completing college, she entered a talent contest and shortly after got signed by a theatrical agent.

From 2002 to 2004, Longoria was married to actor Tyler Christopher from General Hospital. Longoria then met French-American basketball player Tony Parker in 2004 and they got married in 2007. Longoria filed for divorce from Parker which became final in 2011. In 2015, Longoria reported her engagement to Mexican businessman José Antonio Bastón Patiño whom she met on a blind date. The couple were married in 2016 and had their first child in 2018.
