Fukrey 3 has finally hit the theatres on 28th September 2023. It is the third installment of the iconic Fukrey movie series. Fans are excited to see their favourite Pulkit Samrat and Varun Sharma play the characters of Hunny and Choocha once again.

Fukrey 3 Release Date – 28th September 2023

The wait is finally over! Fukrey 3 has been released in theatres on Thursday, 28th September 2023. The principal photography of the movie commenced in March 2022. After that, the film unit announced production wrap in June 2022. After a few delays due to various factors, the film is now all set to release. 

There is no official information available on the Fukrey 3 OTT release date. The makers will see how the movie performs at the box office then only they will decide about the OTT release. 

Trailer Release and Reaction

The official trailer of Fukrey 3 was released on YouTube on 5th September 2023. Since then, it has been viewed more than 33 million times. The trailer is utterly funny and loved by critics and the public alike. 

It is clear from the trailer that the movie is going to take viewers on another adventurous ride with Choocha, Hunny, Lali, and Pandit Ji. They will be facing other challenging situations against our villain Bholi Punjaban, played by Richa Chaddha. 

The comment section of Fukrey 3’s trailer is filled with positive feedback. However, fans are also missing Ali Fazal who played the role of Zafar Khan in the previous two instalments of the series. 

Fukrey 3 Cast

There are not many changes in the Fukrey 3 cast.

1. Pulkit Samrat – Known for his charming on-screen presence, Pulkit Samrat will once again grace the screen by portraying the street-smart character of Hunny.  
2. Richa Chaddha – Bholi Punjaban, played by Richa Chaddha, is the most feisty and fearless character in this movie series. She will be back playing the role of a gangster-turned-politician making lives difficult for other characters in Fukrey 3.  
3. Manjot Singh – Manjot Singh, who plays Lali in the “Fukrey” series, will bring his own innocence and charm to the character. 
4. Varun Sharma – Varun Sharma will portray the role of Choocha. Undoubtedly, he is the most loved character in this movie series. We are sure that he will bring even more laughter and entertainment this time.  
5. Pankaj Tripathi – The powerhouse of talent, our own Kalin Bhaiya, Pankaj Tripathi will be seen playing the role of quirky Panditji. With his versatility and comic timing, Tripathi will bring a unique flavour to the storyline.   

Why is Ali Fazal not a part of Fukrey 3?

Many of us fans are missing Ali Fazal in Fukrey 3. He was loved as Zafar Khan in Fukrey and Fukrey Returns.  According to Ali, he was unable to be a part of Fukrey 3 due to his scheduling conflict with Mirzapur Season 3. 

He let his fans know about this using his X account. He wrote, “Sorry saathiyon, iss baari nahi”, zafar ko kabhi kabhi Guddu bhaiya banna padta hai. Aur do universes overlap ho jaate hain kabhi kabhi”. (Sorry friends, not this time, Zafar has to become Guddu Bhaiya sometimes. And the two universes overlap sometimes)

He further added, “Once a Fukra always a Fukra so I am around. . . But I won’t be coming on screen for the third outing of Fukras, Bholi and Panditji! I would have wanted to be part of it but time and schedules didn’t allow me to. I will be back in the future at some juncture, maybe sooner than you expect. Zafar will be back after a small detour to entertain you guys!”

Both Fukrey 3 and Mirzapur season 3 are produced by the same company called “Excel Entertainment”.

This time Bholi Punjaban will decide to fight an election. You will see her trying to become the Chief Minister of Delhi. Baffled by this news, four friends – Choocha, Hunny, Lali, and Pandit Ji, will try to field Choocha against Bholi Punjaban in the election. 

They will also try various tricks to arrange Rs. 50 Lakh to fight elections against Bholi. All this tussle will result in numerous funny situations. This time, Choocha will have the unique power of turning his urine into gunpowder.
