List of Gujarat Bank Holidays 2024
Most private and public banks in the state of Gujarat remain closed on the government holidays. Banks also observe holiday on second and fourth Saturdays and all Sundays.

It should be noted that first and third Saturdays (or fifth in case there are five Saturdays) are fully functional day in all banks of Gujarat state.

Gujarat Schools Holidays in 2024
Schools of Gujarat state remain close on the day of gazetted and public holidays. Also, Sundays are fixed off in all the schools.
Other than this, some schools keep open on Saturdays while some provide a holiday. Every school has its own list of holidays that mentions all the days on which the school will remain closed and the teachers and children will be given the day off.
Holidays given in school may vary from one class to another. For example, a school can give Saturday off to primary students but not to secondary students.
Similarly, primary students might be allowed to celebrate teacher’s or children’s day in school but higher students are supposed to be in classes and focus on their studies.
Places to visit in Gujarat on a Holiday
