Tradesman Mate

Eligibility:

  • A candidate must be a citizen of India or a subject of Nepal or Bhutan. A Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with intention of permanently settling in India can also apply.
  • The age of the candidate should be between 18 and 25 years.
  • A pass in Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized board is required.
  • A certificate in any trade from a recognized Industrial Training Institute is desirable.

Fireman

Eligibility:

  • A candidate must be a citizen of India or a subject of Nepal or Bhutan. A Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with intention of permanently settling in India can also apply.
  • The age of the candidate should be between 18 and 25 years.
  • A pass in Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized board is required.

Selection Process

Stage-I (Qualifying)

Physical Endurance Test

For male candidates

  • 1.5 km run in 6 minutes
  • Carry a weight of 50 kg to a distance of 200 meters in 100 secs

For Ex-Servicemen below 40 years

  • 1.5 km run in 7 min 11 sec
  • Carry a weight of 50 kg to a distance of 200 meters in 2 minutes

For Ex-Servicemen between 40-45 years

  • 1.5 km run in 7 min 48 Secs
  • Carry a weight of 50 kg to a distance of 200 meters in 2 min 10 Secs

For Ex-Servicemen above 45 years

  • 1.5 km run in 9 min 22 secs
  • Carry a weight of 50 kg to a distance of 200 meters in 2 min 40 secs

For Female Candidates

  • 1.5 km run in 8 min 26 secs
  • Carry a weight of 50 kg to a distance of 200 meters in 3 min 45 secs

Physical Endurance Test

For male candidates:

  • 1.6 km run in 6 minutes

For ESM candidates below 40 years 

  • 1.6 km run in 7 min 11 secs

For ESM candidates between 40-45 years

  • 1.6 km run in 7 min 48 secs

For ESM candidates above 45 years

  • 1.6 km run in 9 min 22 secs

For Female candidates

  • 1.6 km run in 8 min 26 secs

Other requirements (for all categories)

  • Carry a person of 63.5 kg to a distance of 183 meters within 96 seconds
  • Clear 2.7 meters wide ditch landing on both feet (long jump)
  • Climb 3 meters vertical rope using hands and feet

Army Ordnance Corps 2023 Application Form

  • Interested candidates can register online for the AOC recruitment test from the official website.
  • After successful registration, they can start filling out the application form.
  • Basic personal and academic details related to the candidates will be asked in the application form.
  • Candidates are required to upload scanned copies of ID proof, photographs, and matriculation certificates in the form.
  • The choice of examination center is also asked in the application form.
  • Once all the details are entered correctly, the candidates can submit the application form.

Army Ordnance Corps 2023 Admit Card
