HPS Admission Process

Entry level-
- Notification regarding the admission and age criteria will be published in the newspaper.
- Parents will have to submit the application forms of their wards.
- Shortlisting of the children will be done on the basis of draw of lots.
- Medical test will be conducted of the shortlisted candidates.
- Final selection list will then be published and the parents will be invited to complete the formalities of admission.
Other classes-
- For other classes, admission is subject to availability of seats.
- First, the parents will have to fill a provisional form.
- Selection will be done on the basis of draw of lots. Selection for class 9 is done on the basis of an entrance test held by the school.
- Selected candidates are required to submit an application form released later by the school and submit it along with the important documents.
- Admission will then be granted after verification of documents.
Class XI-
- At first, interested parents/ students will have to submit an application form.
- Students are selected on the basis of their marks in the ICSE board exams.
- For students coming from other boards, entrance exam is conducted.

I don’t think there is any advance notification. They usually give admission forms in month of Dec and will update parents after lottery in the month of January in the form of SMS and the list is also updated in website along with Hardcopy at school gate.

has anyone received confirmation sms from school for pp1 admission?
The medical test has been deferred for the selected candidates for PP1 which is the latest information issued. The draw of lots was conducted on 18th and the admitted wards list is posted on the main gate of the school since then.
Payment of fees and other details will be issued shortly is what i was informed. The whole process is being handled in a very professional and systematic manner.
