About These Important Days Observed in Feb Month

World Wetlands Day: World Wetlands Day is observed every year on 2^nd February to create awareness globally for the protection of Wetlands. Wetlands are small environments of plant life and organisms found within water bodies that are important for ecological balance. A new theme is selected every year for observing this day.

World Cancer Day: February 4 is marked as World Cancer Day to raise awareness against cancer. The main idea behind this is to make people more familiar about this disease so that it can be eliminated entirely.

World Day of Social Justice: With the aim to promote social justice, the World Day of Social Justice is observed every year on 20^th February. The first World Day of Social Justice was observed in the year 2009 after its approval by the United Nations General Assembly.
