September 3: Skyscraper Day

September 5: Teachers’ Day (India)
In India, Teachers’ Day is celebrated on September 5th every year. On this very day, one of the greatest teacher and educationist, Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan was born. Every year, 14 September is celebrated as Hindi Day or Hindi Diwas in India. This day marks the anniversary of adoption of Hindi as one of the official languages by different Hindi speaking states of India in 1949.
September 15: Engineer’s Day (India)
Every year September 15 is celebrated as Engineer’s Day in India and marks the birth anniversary of Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya, an Indian civil engineer, statesman and the 19th Diwan of Mysore. He was the Chief Engineer of Krishna Raja Sagara dam and also one of the Chief Engineers of the flood protection system for Hyderabad.
