J&K Sainik School Eligibility Criteria
It is necessary for all candidates to make sure that they are eligible before filling the application form. The eligibility criteria are different for class 6th and class 9th as given below.
For Class 6th Admission
- Candidates must have passed Class V exam from a recognized school at the time of admission.
- A candidate should have been born between 2nd July 2012 and 1st July 2014.
For Class 9th Admission
- Students must have passed class 8th exam from a recognized school at the time of admission.
- A candidate should have been born between 2nd July 2009 and 1st July 2010 (both days inclusive).

The application form for J&K Sainik School Admission 2024 will release in online mode only. Those who are looking to apply need to visit the official website and submit the application form before the last date. Follow the steps listed below in order to apply for the exam.
- First of all, you will have to visit the official website of J&K Sainik School Manasbal i.e. jksainikschool.in.
- On the official website, you will have to register by providing your basic details like email ID and Mobile number.
- After registration, the main application form will display on your screen.
- In the main application form, you will have to provide you complete educational, personal, and contact details.
- Apart from the details, it is also necessary to upload scanned images of the following documents.
- Scanned images of Candidate’s Photograph (file size: less than 500 kb) in JPG/ JPEG/ PNG format.
- Candidate’s Signature (file size: less than 500 kb) in JPG/ JPEG/ PNG format.
- Candidate’s left-hand thumb impression. (file size less than 500 kb) in JPG/ JPEG/ PNG format.
- In case of any eventuality of left thumb being unavailable, right hand thumb impression may be used
- The details entered in the application form should be accurate. Otherwise, the form can get rejected.
- It is also necessary for all candidates to pay the necessary application fee.
- Finally, take a printout of the application form submitted and keep it safe for future requirements.

- The application fee is the same for all candidates i.e. Rs. 550/-
Mode of payment – The application fees can be paid online using a credit card, debit card, or internet banking.
JKSSEE 2024 Admit Card
- To take part in the JKSSEE 2024 examination, candidates must have their admit cards with them.
- The admit card will release online through the official website of the school.
- To download the admit card, candidates will have to provide their registration details.
- The admit card will contain information like date, time, and venue of the examination.
- No candidate will be allowed to enter the examination hall without an admit card.
- At the time of the examination, candidates must carry the following documents with them.

- One passport size photograph to be affixed on attendance sheet
- Valid and original Photo ID proof
- Personal hand sanitizer (50ml)

JKSSEE 2024 Answer Key
- The school will display the provisional Answer Key of the questions and give an opportunity to the candidates to challenge the same.
- Candidates can challenge the provisional Answer key on payment of non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 200/- per answer challenged.
- Challenges made by the candidates will be verified by the school with the help of a panel of subject experts.
- After considering the challenge, the school authority will release the final answer key. You are not allowed to challenge the final answer keys.

- The result will be prepared on the basis of the final answer keys.
- Authorities will publish the result online, candidates will be able to check the same through the official website.
- There is no provision for re-checking/re-evaluation of the answer sheets. No request in this regard will be entertained.
- The result will remain valid only for the current academic session.
