KVS Assam University Admission Process
Here is the admission process for class 1 to class 12:

| Class 1 | The fresh registration is held every year. It depends upon Kendriya Vidyalaya Sanghthan whether they would like to conduct online or offline registration for class 1. |
| Class 2 to 7 | There will be an offline registration based on seats available. No admission test would be conducted and admissions are granted on the Priority Category system. |
| Class 9 | An admission test including subjects English, Hindi, Maths, Science, and Social Science will be held. The total marks of the question paper will be 100 and candidates are given 3 hours of time to solve the question paper. |
| Class 10 | Fresh admission to Non-KV students is offered based on availability of seats. Candidates should have at least 55% marks in class 9 to apply to class 10 admissions. |
| Class 12 | Fresh admission to Non-KV students is offered based on availability of seats. Candidates should have at least 55% marks in class 11 to apply to class 12 admissions. |
| Class 11 | Science- 60% marks in aggregate in class X

About KV Assam University
Kendriya Vidyalaya Assam University is a project Vidyalaya under Institute of Higher Learning (IHL). It was established on 21st June, 2017 with primary wing and single section classes i.e. up to class V; With a strength of 201 students on roll. It is at present functioning in a temporary building with in the complex of Assam University, Silchar. It is located at the south-east corner Silchar town amidst the lap of beautiful natural greenery. It is catering to the educational needs and demands of the locality.
