He has also signed a new two-year, $97 million extension with his current team Lakers according to which he will earn $141 million over the next three years. Cleveland Cavaliers (2003–2010)
Professional basketball career of LeBron James began when he got selected by his hometown team, the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2003. In his very first season, James set an NBA record with 25 points. When the season approached the end, James became the first Cavalier to receive the NBA Rookie of the Year Award. Miami Heat (2010–2014)
