Miles Teller was born on February 20, 1987, in Downingtown, Pennsylvania, to Merry and Michael Teller. His mother was a real estate agent while his father was a nuclear power plant engineer. Teller also has two older sisters, Erin and Dana. Miles was involved with acting from a very young age and was the president of his high school’s drama club. Other than this, he played alto saxophone, drums, piano, and guitar.

After graduating from Lecanto High School, Teller attended the New York University Tisch School of the Arts. Miles began his professional acting career in 2004 and appeared in many short films till 2010. In 2010, he landed a major role in the movie “Rabbit Hole” which also was his debut film. He was picked for the role in the movie specifically by the actress Nicole Kidman who felt his acting to be very real. The actress has always remained very supportive of Teller’s career.
