The admission to 6^th class is offered only to those students who pass from the R.S.Junior Modern School, Humayun Road (Junior Wing of the Modern School). To offer admission to its 11^th class, the school conducts an entrance exam followed by an interview.

Eligibility Criteria

• For class 6^th: The student must successfully pass the class 5^th from R.S. Junior Modern School, Humayun Road, New Delhi. This school is the junior wing of the Modern school.
• For class 11^th: To get admission into class 11^th, the student must pass the class 10^th exam from a recognized board of education.

Modern School Application Process

• The applications are invited only for the class 11^th
• In order to apply, the students have to register in online mode through the school’s website i.e. www.modernschool.net.
• While filling the application form, the students have to provide all their educational, contact and personal details.
• Additionally, the students also required to choose their preferred stream of education i.e. Humanities, Commerce or Science.
• Apart from details, the applicants also need to upload the scanned images of the following documents.

  • Class 10th pre-board mark sheet/ Board mark sheet.
  • Certificate of any other achievement.

• Take a printout of the submitted application form as it is required at the time of an entrance exam.

Selection Process

• All the students who will pass the class 5^th exam from R.S. Junior Modern School, Humayun Road, New Delhi will get direct admission into the class 6^th.
• An entrance exam will take place at the school’s campus for class 11^th
• The subjects of an entrance exam depend upon the stream that a candidate will choose.

• The students who will clear the entrance exam will get an invitation for the interview.
• Both the parents are also required to be present along with the students at the time of the interview.

• 4 Black and white photographs of exact size 3.5 x 2.5 cm with the name of the student printed on the photograph – At the time of Admission
• Self-Attested photocopy of Board Admit Card– At the time of Admission
• Self-Attested photocopy of Aadhaar Card – At the time of Admission

ICSE/ Any other board students

• Original TC duly stamped and signed by Principal and countersigned by CISCE (Board) or any other Equivalent Board – Within 10 days
• Self-Attested photocopy of Migration Certificate- At the time of Admission
• Self-Attested photocopy of Original Mark-sheet- At the time of Admission
• Downloaded Mark-sheet- At the time of Admission
• Self-Attested Photocopy of Original Passing Certificate- At the time of Admission
• 4 Black and white photographs of exact size 3.5 x 2.5 cm with the name of the student printed on the photograph – At the time of Admission
