National Safety Day History

It was organized by the Ministry of Labor and Employment in Delhi on December 11-13, 1965, with President Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan in attendance. National and state-level Safety Councils were agreed upon in this. The idea for a National Safety Council was approved at the Standing Labor Committee’s 24th session in February 1966.
