NCHM JEE: Exam Pattern, Syllabus, Eligibility Criteria
The National Testing Agency conducts National Council for Hotel Management Joint Entrance Examination (NCHM JEE). It is a computer-based test conducted for admission to the B.Sc.Course in Hospitality and Hotel Administration (B.Sc.HHA) across the Country. The exam is usually conducted in April every year.
NCHM JEE Eligibility Criteria
Read minimum eligibility requirements for taking NCHM JEE conducted by NTA:
Age Limit: The upper age criteria for General and OBC category candidates is 25 years as on 1st July of the year of admission. For candidates belonging to SC/ST category, the age criterion is 28 years as on 1st July of the year of admission.
Physical Fitness: Qualified candidates have to submit Physical fitness certificate.
Minimum Qualification: Candidates should have passed 10+2 system of Senior Secondary examination or its equivalent with English as one of the subjects. They should have passed English individually.
NCHM JEE Application Form
Candidates need to apply online for NCHM JEE by visiting its official website nchm.nta.nic.in. The application form submitted through any other channel is liable to be rejected. One candidate must submit only one application. Submission of multiple applications will lead to rejection. Please keep following ready before you start applying online:
- A computer with good internet connectivity
- Qualification details
- Scanned copy of photograph in JPEG/JPG format (size between 10kb -200kb)
- Scanned copy of signature in JPG/JPEG format (size between 10kb -200kb)
- A valid mobile number
- A valid email ID
- For payment of application fee online, you should have a valid debit/credit card/Net banking/UPI or PayTM account.
- A printer connected to the system.
How to Apply for NCHM JEE?
Step 1: Complete the registration and note down the system generated application number.
Step 2: Login with system generated application number and user generated password and fill up the application form with required information.
Step 3: Upload scanned copy of your signature and photograph
Step 4: Make payment by Debit/Credit Card/ Net Banking/ PayTM/ UPI.
Step 5: Choose the exam centre and submit the application to generate confirmation page.

- General/ Non Creamy Layer OBC: Rs.900/-
- EWS: Rs.700/-
- SC/ST/PwD: Rs.450/-
- Transgender: Rs.450/-
NCHM JEE Exam Pattern
The question paper will be available in English and Hindi only.
All questions will be multiple choice questions
4 marks will be awarded for every correct response.
-1 will be deducted for every incorrect response.
No marks will be awarded for Unanswered/Marked for Review.
