Eligibility Criteria

Only rural youth between the age of 15 and 35 years from poor families are eligible to apply. For women, persons with disabilities, victims of human trafficking and other vulnerable groups, there is no upper age limit. Identification of eligible rural youth can be done as per the following:

  • MGNREGA worker households, with a minimum of 15 days of completed work in the previous year
  • Rashtriya Swasthya Bima Yojana (RSBY) households
  • Antyodaya Anna Yojana (AAY) card or BPL PDS card holding households
  • Self Help Group (SHG) households
  • NRLM-Self Help Group households
  • Special groups such as victims of trafficking, manual scavengers, trans-genders, rehabilitated bonded labor and other vulnerable groups.

Pandit Dindayal Upadhyay Yojana Registration 2023

Interested candidates can get enrolled with their Gram Panchayat or Gram Rozgar Sewak, who will recommend the nearby Training Center. They can also arrange for its mobilization staff to meet you and offer you counseling and guidance. You can also locate a nearby training center, contact them directly and get registered with them.

Another option available for registration is through online means. The online registration form for Pandit Dindayal Upadhyay Grameen Kaushalya Yojana 2023 will be made available on the Kaushal Panjee portal. Check out the steps for online registration below.

  • Go to Kaushal Panjee portal https://kaushalpanjee.nic.in/ and click on Candidate Registration.
  • A candidate registration page will appear mentioning all the steps involved in registration.
  • There will be an option for Fresh/ New Registration, Incomplete Registration Form & Registered Candidate. Select Fresh/ New Registration and click the Next button.
  • First you have to provide your personal information like name, parents’ name, date of birth, gender, phone number, email address and SECC details (Socio Economic Caste Census).
  • After providing all the data, click on Save & Proceed to proceed to next page where you will have to provide address details. Enter the data and click Save & Proceed again.
  • The next sections will be filling personal information, training program details and submitting the registration form.

Candidates can also register themselves by visiting the official DDU-GKY website http://ddugky.gov.in/apply-now. On this page you will need to provide details like name, address, state, district, email id, mobile, personal identity (BPL/ MNREGA/ RSBY/ AAY/ BPL/ NRLM) and passport size photograph. You can also mention in the form the industry and job role of your choice. Once all the details are entered correctly, click on the Submit button to submit the form.

The following documents are required to be submitted for verification of the candidates:

  • Proof of Identity and Age
    • Aadhaar Card or Election ID Card or any government issued photo ID card
    • Birth Certificate, if Date of Birth is not listed in the above Identity Card
  • Proof of Eligibility
    • BPL Card of self or your household (where your name is also mentioned)
    • MGNREGA worker card of any member of your household, with a minimum of 15 days of completed work
    • Rashtriya Swasthya Bima Yojana (RSBY) card of your household
    • Antyodaya Anna Yojana (AAY) or BPL PDS card of your household
    • NRLM-Self Help Group identification or certificate for any member of your household
  • Proof if claiming reservation or relaxation in age limit:
    • SC/ ST Certificate issued by competent authority, with any of the above
    • Disability Certificate issued by a Registered Medical Practitioner, with any of the above

About the Training Program

Curriculum of the training program is defined by Sector Skill Councils & NCVT and in line with industry expectations. Unrelenting efforts are made to make sure that a minimum placement of 70% of the project target of all trainees is achieved. The training is offered by qualified trainers who do not just teach job-oriented skill but also provide soft skills training. Enrolled students are taught how to use computers and tablets, how to talk in English and other personal skills they might require in their profession. All necessary books & study material, a Tablet PC and uniforms are provided to the students free of cost. In residential training centers, free accommodation and food is provided. In non-residential training centers, traveling expenses will be reimbursed and one meal will be provided for every completed day in training. The training center will also help you get bio-metric identification cards, a bank account and insurance where applicable.

What financial benefits will be entitled to the students who enroll under DDU-GKY?

The following are the financial benefits you will be gaining from DDU-GKY:
Free job interviews and placement opportunities and a job with a minimum salary of Rs. 6,000/- per month.
Post Placement salary top-up for 2 months if you are placed in your domicile state, in a town smaller than your District HQ
Post Placement salary top-up for 3 months if you are placed in your domicile state, in a town larger than your District HQ
Post Placement salary top-up for 6 months if you are placed outside your domicile state
In case of Industrial Internship, Rs. 4,500/- (one-time payment), Rs. 5,000/- per month stipend for 12 months and a job with a minimum salary of Rs. 10,000/- per month, after successful training
