Singing Career
In 2009, Pratibha Singh was a participant in the music reality show “Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge”. She made it to the list of top finalists, and got included in the Shankar Mahadevan gharana list but sadly got eliminated before the finals. Although she was not able to win the competition, Baghel’s performance received immense appraise from both fans and critics. Following the show, Pratibha started receiving opportunities for stage shows in Mumbai. She made her Bollywood debut with the song “Jheeni Re Jheeni” from the 2013 movie “Issaq”. Baghel has further given her voice to songs in various Bollywood movies, the popular ones being “Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania”, “Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi”, “Zid”, “Shorgul”, “Bollywood Diaries”, etc.
Baghel has collaborated with composer Abhishek Ray for Sufi rock in “Dhaagey”, Indian folk in “Kanha ki Preet”, love ballad “Ilzaam”, and a soulful ghazal jazz fusion “Kaise – The Music Of Goodbye”.
