Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education Tata Institute of Fundamental Research is the authority responsible for organizing and managing the Regional Mathematics Olympiad (RMO) 2023. Only those candidates are allowed to appear for this Olympiad who will clear the Pre-Regional Mathematics Olympiad (PRMO).

Regional Mathematics Olympiad (RMO) 2023 Eligibility Criteria
Those candidates who are looking to apply for Olympiad must ensure that they fulfill the following eligibility criteria.
- The candidates must born on or after 1st August 2003.
- Only Indian citizens are allowed to participate. Students with OCI cards are also eligible.
- The candidates must be students of Class 9th, 10th, 11th, or 12th.
- In some special cases, exceptionally talented students from class 8th will also be allowed to take the exam at the discretion of the regional coordinator.
- After PRMO, a maximum of the top 300 students from class 8th, 9th, 10th, and 11th will be shortlisted to participate in RMO.
- Apart from this, the top 60 students from the class 12th will be selected to take part in RMO in each region.
- The JNV and KV schools are considered as a separate region, a maximum of top 5 % performers from each class i.e. 8th, 9th, & 10th and the top 1% performs from 12th class will be shortlisted to participate in the RMO.

- To begin the process of application, aspirants need to register on the official website.
- During the registration process, candidates have to provide some of their basic details including name, email address, phone number, etc.
- Once registered, candidates can log in and access the main application form.
- In the application form, applicants have to enter their complete educational, personal, and contact details.
- The details entered in the application form must be accurate. Otherwise, the application form might get rejected.

- KV applicants: Rs. 125/-
- JNV applicants: Rs. 100/-

RMO Syllabus 2023

- Arithmetic of Integers, Inequalities, Geometry, Elementary Combinatorics, Quadratic Equations & Expressions, Probability Theory, Trigonometry, Number Theory, Coordinate Geometry, Finite Series & Complex Numbers, System of Linear Equations, Elementary Graph Theory, Permutations & Combinations, Factorization of Polynomial.
RMO 2023 Admit Card
- The admit card will be made in online mode through the official website.
- Candidates will be able to download the admit card by entering their registration details.
- The details about the examination date and venue will be mentioned on the admit card.
- It is necessary to carry the school ID proof along with the admit card at the time of the examination.
- Students must carry their own pens, pencils, erasers, blue/ black pens, and sharpeners while appearing for the examination.
- No candidate will be allowed to take the examination without an admit card.
RMO 2023 Result
- Those candidates who will appear for the examination will be able to check the result in online mode.
- In order to check the result, aspirants have to enter their roll number, date of birth, and captcha of the official website.
- The information about the candidates score in the Olympiad will be mentioned on the result card.
- Applicants are advised to take a printout of the result and keep it safe for future requirement.
- Please note that the result of the Kendriya Vidyalaya and Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya students will not be available in online mode. Students have to contact the school for the same.
