The General Intelligence and Reasoning section will test the candidate’s ability to solve problems, reasoning ability and understanding of verbal and non-verbal questions. It is the most important section in the exam with 30 marks.

The General Science section will test the candidate’s knowledge of basic science concepts. This section is moderately important and carries 25 marks. The section of General Science is further divided into the following three subsections.

The section of General Awareness will test the candidate’s knowledge of current affairs and general knowledge. This section is relatively less important with 20 marks only.

RRB Group D Physical Efficiency Test

Those candidates who will clear the written test will be invited to take the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). Please note that the number of candidates invited to the Physical Efficiency Test will be 3 times the number of vacancies. Here are the PET criteria for male and female candidates.
