Know Your School on UDISE Portal

If you want to search for data for a particular school then you can follow the steps listed below.

  • First of all, you have to visit the official UDISE+ portal i.e. udiseplus.gov.in.
  • On the portal, you should click on the “Know Your School” section available on the right-hand side of the screen.
  • Now, you will get three options to search for a school.
    • Search by UDISE Code
    • Search by Name
    • Search by Pin Code
  • Enter any of the above information and click on the “Submit” button.
  • On the next page, the name of the school will display on your screen.
  • Finally, you can choose the type of report you want to see. There are three types of reports that you can generate.

  • First of all, you need to visit the udise+ login for the school directory and user management module.
  • Here, you can log in by entering your username and password.
  • If you don’t have UDISE+ user credentials then you should click on the “School User Registration” button.
  • On the next page, you will have to choose your school and enter the accurate details. To find your school, you can enter details like state, district, block, and UDISE code.

UDISE Code Generation

  • The first step in receiving a UDISE Code for a school is to register through the SDMS portal.
  • After that, Block Education Officer (BEO) will map the school to a cluster and send details for verification.
  • Once the verification gets completed by the cluster official, Block Education Officers (BEO) can reject/ approve actions for the school.
  • When the school receives approval from Block Education Officers (BEO) a provisional U-DISE Code is generated for it.
  • The school receives approval from the District Education Officers (DEO) to generate a final UDISE Code after approval from the Block Education Officers (BEO).
