History of World Dream Day Celebration

The proposal to observe World Dream Day was put forward by an instructor at Columbia University, Ozioma Egwuonwu, in 2012. Ozioma was also an educator and a transformational strategist who aimed at creating a day that would help inspire humanity and thus came up with the idea of World Dream Day celebration. Not only individuals but families, communities and companies are also encouraged to dream big and do whatever it takes to turn those dreams into reality.
