Let me make a note of few things that will help you towards admission in Army Public School Secunderabad (RKP):
Admission form for all categories will be only available for class 1.
Admission forms for classes II to X & XII are restricted to wards of Serving / Retired – Army/Air force/Navy personnel only.
There are two categories of admission-
1>Admission without test
2>Admission with test
1> Admission without test
Following category of children may claim for admission without admission test, based on Transfer Certificate (TC) from previous school:
Children who are coming on pass/promoted TC from another APS/ KV between the period 01 Apr to 31 Jul.
Children who have studied for 10 academic months in another APS/ KV and are seeking admission after 31 Jul.
2>Admission Test Format
For the rest, the school will conduct admission tests for admission:

Class II – V – English, Hindi & Maths

I m looking for class 1 admission for my son in RK puram and my husand is exserv from Army.I have consulted to Rk puram office regarding admission and i came across that admissions are not given to exserv children and when i see in the official website it is specified admission categories mentioned and its clearly stated admisn will b given but when i personally went n met the school management they are not giving admissions to exserv child and same on notice board the admission will be for serving persons only is written.May i know the exact reason of descrimination for exserv children.

You need to confirm your daughter eligibility first. Further, you have to submit the admission form. There are different criteria for admission without test and admission with test.
According to official, here are the criteria:
Admission Without Test
Following category of children will be admitted based on Transfer Certificate (TC) from previous school, without an admission test :-
(a) Children who are coming on pass/promoted TC from another APS/ KV between the period 01 Apr to 31 Jul.
(b) Children who have studied for 10 academic months in another APS/ KV and are seeking admission after 31 Jul.
(c) An evaluation test may be taken in respect of these children to facilitate further academic coaching and allocation of sections.
However such an evaluation test will not be treated as admission test and children entitled admission will be allowed to attend classes within 48 hours of reporting to the school.
Admission with test
Army Public School, RK Puram, Secunderabad – 56 will conduct Admissions Tests for the new academics.
